Weekly Wrap Up (62)

FacebookTweetPinEmailShares0

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer~ It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

A Few (Random) Things

  • I discovered PINTREST. It’s so addicting. haha here is my info, should you choose to follow me!
  • I went out for a drink with a co-worker! This just doesn’t happen, ever.
  • I survived week 1 without the kiddos. BARELY.
  • I did OKAY on my “diet” this week. I had candy once (which is a miracle in on itself)
  • I have read 91 books so far this year!
  • I “push mowed” my front yard and half of the back. Mind you, at least a 1/3 of our land (a little over and acre total) is YARD. My muscles are crying this morning.

Ooh The Falconer is on sale? I’ve been wanting to read that one…

I still haven’t fallen down the Pinterest hole… but I’ve heard it’s fun! LOL.

91 books is good! You go girl!

I haven’t been doing very good on my diet. πŸ™ I keep trying to get myself back on track and it’s quite difficult.

Anyway- have a good week! I get to see you in 2!

Yep! I have too – which is why I am so excited to see it on sale.

Pinterest is fun. I have found so many cool things on there. And it’s a HUGE time waster. (if you have time to kill.. go on pinterest!)

I totally agree with you about Pinterest. I love collecting those images….they are like eye candy.

I used to live in the foothills and had a huge yard like that…I hired someone to do it, mainly because I am too old to start pushing a lawn mower again…Haha.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

I wouldn’t normally be mowing the lawn – but our riding lawn mower has a flat tire!

That’s a lot of lawn to cut. Ours got long cause we were so busy and by the time I cut it it was like mowing a jungle. Good grief… liked your review of Get Dirty, I’m glad to hear it’s good as I’m waiting rather impatiently for it. I loved Get even and need to know what’s next.

Fabulous post by the way on fitting in. I often smile when I see the flailing- I couldn’t help but laugh when you mentioned “I can’t breathe”. And Goodreads- the flailing and GIF- a mania sometimes. πŸ™‚

Yes, it was a lot and my poor thumbs, arms, legs and back are STILL feeling it!

And thank you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I have seen people make comments about not being able to breathe because of ALL THE EMOTION from seeing a cover. It’s INSANE

Oof! Pinterest! I did hear how addicting it is which is why I’m staying away from it. IG is already taking too much of my time as it is!

I tried Pintrest, but can’t just can’t get into it. I occasionally check it out, but lose interest quick. I’m the same with IG. I bet that was quite a workout – mowing the yard. πŸ˜€

I wish Pinterest was around when I got married. (If it was, I didn’t know about it!)

and I wouldn’t say I am dieting, per se, more just.. watching what I am eating. Same difference, right? But “dieting” sounds so restricting LOL

I love tiny haul weeks! They always make me feel like I can actually catch up on my TBR, though I know that’s totally impossible. πŸ™‚ I’ve heard The Falconer is awesome, too. 91 books so far? JEALOUS. I need to speed up or I won’t make my goal!

91 books is very impressive. Well done. Not to mention the mowing! As for Pinterest, I had to take it off my phone and iPad as I was procrastinating at night when I should have been sleeping!!!!

I am so happy with my number of books read because I didn’t make my goals last year. Yes, the mowing sucked. I am NOT doing that again. My blisters are painful and just UGLY
