Hello!
Blog
- I *tried* to make some changes to the blog earlier this week and failed miserably. I was waiting for days for help so I just said F it and bought a new theme. I planned to anyway, just not yet.
- There will be some SHOPs on the blog in the coming weeks. Look for interviews, coupon codes and giveaways. Spoiler alter: tote bags, cards, and maybe some candles?
- If you love romance books, and listen to audiobooks and/or Podcasts, I HIGHLY recommend Read Me Romance. It’s two authors (Alexa Riley & Tessa Bailey) and we get steamy reads for free every week. Seriously, check it out!
Life
- Not a whole lot going on at the moment. At least, not anything NEW.
- I’ve been looking at houses for the past couple weeks and I am itching to buy and move. It wont be for another.. 5-ish months, but dang. Couldn’t happen soon enough!
Fitness
- I’ve been taking more pictures lately, and I’m starting to see more results (and feel them too!) my goal isn’t to lose WEIGHT per se, but lose FAT.
- I will be signing up for my first 5k next week. It’s called Run Your Bundt’s Off. LOL I love it.
- 5 gym visits/workouts this week! (Sun-Sat)
Share with me:
- How was your week?
- Are you watching the game today? What was your favorite commercial?

Thank you! 🙂
The blog theme looks good!
Good luck with the fitness mission. Running a 5k is one of my goals this year… But I’m in need of serious training first! lol

Thanks! I really love it. I haven’t made many changes, either!
I can help! There are some great apps too that will help with running. Taking is slow and easy is best 🙂 let me know if you want to know which apps I use.
Ooh good luck with the house looking! I always loved seeing new places and thinking what if…
The Fever King- huh that one’s new to me but looks good!

SAME! Sad thing is. I don’t know what my budget it. I just know the area I want, and WHAT i want LOL
I have a shop with some great reader goodies. I could give you a coupon code! DM me @ReadingAddicted and I can get you the link and code!
I love hearing about your fitness. I’m trying so hard to get to the treadmill at least 3 times a week just to get started and am finding that difficult. I would love to be able to run a 5K but even at my healthiest, with some heart and lung issues I just can’t get a good run. I can do intervals, at least I used to be able to, but doctor put me on this stupid workout plan that had absolutely no challenge and I just quit. Fast forward to now and a lot of pounds later, I need to get back in shape. I look forward to hearing what you are up to! How do you fit it all in?!
Awesome! I will DM you!
I’m glad to hear it. I love sharing all about it. How about walking the 5k? I haven’t run a 5k straight through! I walk for 30 sec intervals if I’m tired, or honestly, on a hill LOL
I don’t know how I fit it all in. I will be starting softball soon, and meeting at a book club and I’m nervous about TIME
Ooh, I’ll have to check out that podcast. I’m almost done listening to the backlog of What Should I Read Next, so it’ll be nice to have another bookish podcast in my queue!
You’re doing awesome with the fitness goals! I’m *really* hoping to be able to start walking regularly again once it warms up- I can’t get any more specific when it comes to setting goals than that, because my body is a jerk and I have some medical conditions that sometimes make even walking across a room difficult and painful. Before this set in (and even during my good times), I’ve always loved going for 3-5 mile walks. Nothing relaxes me more, and to not be able to do this regularly drives me NUTS. So enjoy that 5K for me! I’ll cheer you on from the blogosphere!!! 😀

I love the podcast. the ladies are hilarious!
I think setting a goal to walk 1-2 days a week when it’s nice out IS a good goal to have. Write it down where you can see it and cross it off as you go! No need to do have an elaborate plan.
and yay! I need all the cheering I can get!
