Back into the Swing of Things + Upcoming Milestone(s) // Weekly Wrap Up 130

FacebookTweetPinEmailShares0

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in whichΒ I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviews &Β The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted byΒ Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hey! Happy Saturday!

This past week has been a good one! I’ve been slowly getting back in the swing of things – blog hopping, Instagram and at least trying to be more active on social. Work was crazy, as per usual, but other thanΒ that, it was great. I’ve been on a TV show kick lately, and I will be starting The Killing.Β Have you seen it?

Today is kind of a nerve wracking day, simply because the Seahawks play in Atlanta. It’s going to be a tough win, but I am confident in my team! #GoHawks

In other news, my 4 year blogoversary is coming up next week and I have NO idea what i am doing for it – if anything at all. Still, it’s an exciting milestone and I will have a post written (sometime) next week.

Share with me:

  • How was your week?
  • Next weekend, is ALAMW17. Are you going?Β

Hello there! πŸ‘‹ Fancy an update? . I’ve been a Hello there! πŸ‘‹ Fancy an update?
.
I’ve been a bit absent from Instagram for the past few weeks. There are a few reasons for this, and I wanted to update you and share them.

1) Imposter Syndrome β€” I’ve been dealing with feeling inadequate in all aspects of life & blogging. It’s a personal thing I’m working on, but the struggle is REAL.

2) Time β€” Working, blogging, self care, family... and trying to grow this page was becoming too much and I needed some time to regroup.

3) Reflectionβ€” again, I’ve been trying to do too much at once, and I’m not happy with the direction I was taking things. I’ve been using this time to focus on my direction and what I plan to do.

Building up our brand and profiles is hard work - I’ve always know this. But working through personal struggles while trying to find my purpose and direction has been hard, too.

Have I figured it all out? Not even a little bit. But I have a plan, a path, and a goal.

If you’re struggling, know you’re not alone! And I’m here to chat, too!

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Comment below Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Comment below ⬇️

It was a pretty boring weekend here - with the anticipation of Tropical Storm Isaias, it was better to stay indoors. Luckily, we didn’t get anything but a bit of rain.

This week - I’m hoping to make it to the beach one day and finish up my first guide. I’m digging deep for some motivation but also ready to slay my goals! πŸ—‘οΈ

Thanks! I’m pretty excited about it! I did a big thing last year, so I don’t think I will this time. Maybe next year.

Did you get a lot of blogging done?

I’m glad you had a good week and that you’re getting into the swing of things again. 4 years is a really great milestone! Congrats! N & I hit 5 years in December and oops, we completely forgot to celebrate/mention it.
That cover for the Kim Savage book is SO CREEPY! I love it! I’m interested in Cold Summer, but I’m waiting for people to read to tell me if it’s a me-book or not. I love the concept though.
    Have a great week ahead!
