Top Ten Books I Will (Probably) Never Read

So. This topic is was actually hard for me, because a lot of the books I selected are Adult/NA. I debated on to change it to 10 BOOKS I WISH I DIDN’T READ to mixing it up. But, I decided tot stick with the theme and just post the Adult/NA books.

Not to mention, it was REALLY hard to narrow it down to 10.

Thoughts

No One Else Can Have You. Um, this is the only for for because of the author.

September Girls does not appeal to me, and I know it was offense to many readers.

Do I really have to say anything about 50 Shades?

As for Getting Played, I was extremely disappointing with the first book, Getting Dirty, and I have no desire to continue the series.

Torment is the sequel to Fallen, which was just.. NO.

Bloodrose was spoiled for me and I know the ending would piss me off – best not go there.

Phoenix.. well. I had many issues with the first book in the series, so desire to finish is gone.

Awaken. LOL the first book had me raging for days and I just DO NOT CARE.

Landline is simply because Rowell’s novels are not my cup of tea.

Last but not least, Never Never part 2. Do NOT get me started…

I read 50 Shades. Meh. I definitely agree with No One Else Can Have You though, which is a shame. Prior to that whole shitshow, I was really looking forward to it.

I tried but her writing is awful, IMO.

I didn’t even want to read No One Else Can Have You but after that whole thing? H-NO

Totally agree with almost all of your choices! No One Else Can Have You is on my ‘Hell No’ list solely because of the author and the others just don’t interest me. Although, I will read Never, Never 2, I just HAVE to know what happens.

You should email me after you read Never Never 2. I saw on GR a Never Never part 3, what’s up with that!?

Funny, I just DL Never Never since it is free. 🙂 Didn’t really get into Landline, which is a first for me because I love RR’s writing. Read Fallen and gave up on Torment. Let’s not talk about Fifty Shades because after a heated debate with my cousin, I finally admitted that I only liked the trilogy because I loved the fanfiction version. Still kicking myself for reading it. I’ve come to really think about a book’s hype before succumbing to reading it. If I like the blurb or whatever, I’m more than likely to read it. I just won’t buy a book now if it’s not my cup of tea; no matter the hype surrounding it.

I would have snagged Never Never for free too. I paid $2.99 for it! I just don’t like RR’s writing.

I couldn’t do the topic this week because I feel bad saying I’ll never read something because I constantly change my mind so I just skipped it… but I COMPLETELY AGREE with Never Never Part II… ugh I was so disappointed in that first book… I love everything else CoHo but that book just did not work for me.

Yeah, I can see that. And some of these I was on the fence about but most I will not change my mind on. hahaha

So I am not the only one that disliked Never Never? YES

LOL so many of these are on my not-to-read list too – Never Never, September Girls, 50 Shades, Torment, Landline (which makes me sad, since I love Rainbow Rowell, but it’s not a “me” book at all).

Why not Never Never? Any reason?

I am just not an overall fan of her books, so I don’t even want to go there, ya know?

I was so excited for No One Else Can Have You… until “the thing” happened. Yup, no thanks. Staying far, far away from that one.
Hahaha to Fifty Shades! I read half of it and then chucked the book across the room. 😉
I have Landline (I’ve had it for ages) and still haven’t felt inclined to read it. 🙁

Wow..This would be a hard list to make. Mine would have some of the big bad books you would never want to read on it. I would have to say though that Fifty Shades would be on my list, no desire to read that book. Very interesting list. Thanks for sharing.

A big no on Kathleen Hale’s book. I loved Landline though, so this makes me sad! The other books don’t really hold interest to me either. I’ve read Bloodrose and 50 Shades and meh. I try not to think about those.

I just am not a HUGE fan of her books, ya know? I might love it, but doubtful. How was Bloodrose? I am curious even though I KNOW the ending would make me rage

what made you mad about the phoenix series? I remember I wanted to read that series…

I actually really liked landline a lot! as for the rest, meh. I wanted to do this post but had a hard time with it because when I don’t want to read something I take it off all my shelves on GR so I had no good way of tracking which ones I don’t want to read so I drew a major blank haha.
