Do you follow the trends - or do you put in the work and do whatcha want?! • Have you heard of those ice creams marketed for those losing weight, that claim to be better for you than traditional ice cream? Many people, myself included, jumped on this trend of “healthier” ice cream without even doing much research into it. While most “high protein” based ice creams are made with low fat vanilla ice cream, and yes, lower calorie, they’re still crammed with sugar and artificial sugars as well. So yes - less calories but same or MORE sugar. This also creates a sense of “eating right” because you can damn nearly eat the whole pint right?! Look, we can make short cut after short cut, and “trend” after trend, but at the end of day - you have to put in the work, and what makes you happy. Work hard Put in the effort Live your LIFE! I’ve always had a love and passion for photography - and I was able to finally start last year when I got my DSLR for Mother’s Day. I’m still not that great, but I do okay I think! Getting out lately and taking photos has been so cathartic lately, especially after full lock down. What I love about photography is how much a photo can say without a single word spoken. 💪 If you stopped when you got tired - how far w 💪 If you stopped when you got tired - how far would you REALLY get?⁣ ⁣ This is a good lesson I learned when I started my fitness/wellness journey. Not only was I getting physically exhausted, but mentally too.⁣ ⁣ But, I never stopped. My goals may have changed over time, which is fine - but I never stop. No matter what you are struggling with at the moment;⁣ Keep going⁣ Finish Strong⁣ ⁣ What keeps you motivated when you start getting TIRED?
🎧📖 Do you listen to #audiobooks?⁣ ⁣ One 🎧📖 Do you listen to #audiobooks?⁣ ⁣ One of the reasons I love listening to audiobooks is that I have been able to branch out and read a variety of books in different genres I wouldn't "typically" pick up.⁣ ⁣ Example: Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This is one of my all-time favorite Audiobooks, and 2019 reads. While I have enjoyed other books by the author, this isn't a genre I pick up often. ⁣ ⁣ But since the audio has a full cast, and I love full cast narration, I picked it up! And bam!
