What’s your passion(s)? I’ve always had a love What’s your passion(s)? I’ve always had a love and passion for photography - and I was able to finally start last year when I got my DSLR for Mother’s Day. I’m still not that great, but I do okay I think! Getting out lately and taking photos has been so cathartic lately, especially after full lock down. What I love about photography is how much a photo can say without a single word spoken. 💪 If you stopped when you got tired - how far w 💪 If you stopped when you got tired - how far would you REALLY get?⁣ ⁣ This is a good lesson I learned when I started my fitness/wellness journey. Not only was I getting physically exhausted, but mentally too.⁣ ⁣ But, I never stopped. My goals may have changed over time, which is fine - but I never stop. No matter what you are struggling with at the moment;⁣ Keep going⁣ Finish Strong⁣ ⁣ What keeps you motivated when you start getting TIRED?
🎧📖 Do you listen to #audiobooks?⁣ ⁣ One 🎧📖 Do you listen to #audiobooks?⁣ ⁣ One of the reasons I love listening to audiobooks is that I have been able to branch out and read a variety of books in different genres I wouldn't "typically" pick up.⁣ ⁣ Example: Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This is one of my all-time favorite Audiobooks, and 2019 reads. While I have enjoyed other books by the author, this isn't a genre I pick up often. ⁣ ⁣ But since the audio has a full cast, and I love full cast narration, I picked it up! And bam! One question I'm asked all the time is DO YOU MAKE MONEY BLOGGING? 💸 I wanted to talk a little bit about that - and why monetizing wasn't always my goal, but is a goal NOW. When I started blogging 7 years ago (WOW! It's been that long!), I was a #bookblogger. While we get books from publishers and authors, which can have a monetary value, not many make a substantial amount of money, most not even enough to cover their blog expenses. Of course, there are always exceptions to this, but generally speaking, No, Book Bloggers don't make money. Honestly, I didn't even know bloggers could MAKE money when I started blogging all those years ago, so imagine my surprise when other bloggers in different niches WERE. Blogging has always been a passion of mine - and I don't blog for money. I would still be doing this even if my chances are making an income was nill. But. My thought process is: If I am going to be doing what I love anyway, why not make money, or even a career out of it, at the same time? My goals are: 1) Help YOU. My no. 1 goal will always be to help my followers/readers first 2) Make enough money to cover blog expenses. (which I am pretty much doing consistently now) 3) 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐣𝐨𝐛. 𝐒𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫 is YES, I make money blogging. The long answer is: it's complicated.
