September Blues + First Fantasy Football Update Weekly Wrap Up 126

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviews & The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hey! Happy Saturday!

I’m starting to feel like my updates are being redundant, because nothing NEW is really happening. Work is stressful, kids are good and Football makes my week! Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Pretty boring stuff, really. Having the Blues sucks.

Fantasy Update:

Last week, I was up against Morgan and her team, Iron Patriots. I lost! It was close there for a second but the two players I was relying on the most did nothing. 🙁

THIS week, I am up against Andi and her team, Boston incrEDELMAN. Our match up was originally pretty even but we both had players play on Thursday and she got 30 points. *side eyes* So I need a miracle.

Hello there! 👋 Fancy an update? . I’ve been a Hello there! 👋 Fancy an update?
.
I’ve been a bit absent from Instagram for the past few weeks. There are a few reasons for this, and I wanted to update you and share them.

1) Imposter Syndrome — I’ve been dealing with feeling inadequate in all aspects of life & blogging. It’s a personal thing I’m working on, but the struggle is REAL.

2) Time — Working, blogging, self care, family... and trying to grow this page was becoming too much and I needed some time to regroup.

3) Reflection— again, I’ve been trying to do too much at once, and I’m not happy with the direction I was taking things. I’ve been using this time to focus on my direction and what I plan to do.

Building up our brand and profiles is hard work - I’ve always know this. But working through personal struggles while trying to find my purpose and direction has been hard, too.

Have I figured it all out? Not even a little bit. But I have a plan, a path, and a goal.

If you’re struggling, know you’re not alone! And I’m here to chat, too!

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Comment below Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Comment below ⬇️

It was a pretty boring weekend here - with the anticipation of Tropical Storm Isaias, it was better to stay indoors. Luckily, we didn’t get anything but a bit of rain.

This week - I’m hoping to make it to the beach one day and finish up my first guide. I’m digging deep for some motivation but also ready to slay my goals! 🗡️

I wish I could take IG pictures that were a 1/4 a pretty as yours. I have no artistic eye whatsoever. I consider it a success if the picture isn’t blurry.
    Good luck with fantasy football!

Aww sorry Tonya :/ Haha. Fantasy Football is really fun but can be super frustrating sometimes! I know what you mean about updates too, it’s the same for me. Work is meh, I read, and watch football & wrestling. Haha. Loved ASBaB, glad you’re enjoying it! I’ve been so bad at visiting blogs for the past couple weeks, trying to make an effort to catch up!
