It’s been quite some time since I have done a Blogger to Blogger post! I am excited for this one, too! Be sure to visit the Archive for more posts like these.
It’s quite easy to see/find other posts about having a successful blog and what YOU should/could do to achieve that. Most of these, I adore because many give great advice. But. What is success and how do you define it?
If you look up the actual definition of success, it chalk up to achieving ones goals or attainment of something. Like, if I won the lottery, SUCCESS. If I got a job promotion, SUCCESS. If I ate the last chocolate bar, SUCCESS. So that means, theoretically, if your goal was to post… 3 times per week and you do, you are successful.
What I want to know is
It is followers? Comments? Number of posts? All of the above? Is it being acknowledged in a book, or magizine? Or mentioned on another blog? Or is it more for self fulfillment to your own personal goals?
If you achieve your goals, have a great following but don’t get all the books you “want,” aren’t you still successful? Absolutely. SO, does the different “levels” of success matter? Why or why not? What makes a blog successful? Click To Tweet
