It’s my favorite time of year! Candy, witches, and ghouls, OH MY!
Not to mention, Football and sweaters (well, maybe not for me this year since I’m in FLORIDA!) pumpkins and hay bales. It’s Fall! With that, marks my favorite holiday; Halloween.
We’re now into our first week of October, and you should be all set with your Fall decor and ready for cooler weather, sweaters and for things that go bump in the night.
But if not, no worries! Here are some Fun Ways to Get Ready for Halloween!
Fun Ways to Get Ready for Halloween (& Fall!)
Go Shopping, DUH!
There is no more natural way to get into the spirit of Fall & Halloween than shopping. For both clothes and decor items.
Clothing & Accessories: start with some fun Halloween Socks. Find some fun and funky T Shirts, dresses, or shorts. Have fun with it! It’s THE time of year to go all out just because.
Decor: Pumpkins, leaves, hay bales, spooky ghouls, and ghosts. The possibilities are endless. Hit up your favorite retail stores and go crazy!
Tip: visit your local dollar store.
Bust out all the decor (old and new!) and get to it! There’s nothing like getting into the spirit of Halloween than having spooky decorations out and about.
Search your local area for haunted places and visit them. Learn about the history of the site and WHY there are claims of it being haunted. Take a tour, or talk with an expert on the location.
Have a Scary Movie Marathon (or ready spooky books!)
Nothing gets your more into the spirit of Halloween than scary movies! Get your family & friends together and have a movie night. But they must be SCARY.
Not a fan of scary movies? Get some spooky reads! Visit your library and ask them for recs. Or, comment below and I’ll share a few I’ve read.
Throw a Party!
That’s right – throw a spooky bash for your family & friends! Find a theme and go with it. Pinterest has so many fresh ideas for food, decor, costumes, and so much more.
