Happy Valentines Day! // Weekly Wrap Up

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap the week, showcase new books received, and highlight what’s to come! Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviews & The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hello!

 Life

  • I did something this past week that I’ve always wanted to do (as an adult): join a co-ed softball team! I’m really excited.
  • I’ve was sick for about 6 days, which wasn’t any fun. Luckily, it was just a bad cold and didn’t develop into anything too serious.
  • I interviewed for the position at work that I’ve been waiting for. I think it went pretty well!

Fitness

  • As I mentioned, I was sick so I didn’t hit the gym this past week. Can a girl just catch break!?
  • I’ve been decreasing my weight and adding more reps and doing super-sets with certain exercises and I am loving it so much. I do love drop sets (you do the exercise for a whole minute without stopping instead of counted reps) so I think I will transition to doing that at some point.

Share with me:

  • How was your week?
  • Any plans for Valentine’s Day?

How fun about the softball team! And fingers crossed that you get the position at work. Hopefully you don’t have to wait too long to find out. No V-Day plans here. Not to sound all bah-humbug but I consider it such a non-holiday. The Husband and I are disgustingly mushy on a day to day basis but we don’t even do anything for V-Day. Not even cards. Ha!

I’m so excited! It seems pretty laid back, so we’ll end up playing whatever. I think it’s a non-holiday, too. I want to be adored and loved all the time, not just on ONE DAY of the year!

oh I loved softball. I played first base on a company team when I first started working. I played both in school and in 4-H teams growing up. I wouldn’t say I was any good but I enjoyed it.

My daughter and I are having massages for Valentine’s Day and maybe we will make some yummy food? I hope you feel much better and have a great week!

Congrats on joining the softball team! I bet you are going to have a blast and get a good workout from it! On your drop sets, are you setting a minute timer every time? I think my daughter does that. I haven’t gotten to weights yet, I’m still trying to get a routine with getting in some cardio. I hate having a long commute. I get home so late. Enjoy your week!

Thanks, I hope so! I need more cardio workouts.

Yes, for the drop set you do the exercise for a minute, rest for 15-30 secs and do the next exercise, repeating the rounds 2-4 times.
