weekly wrap up

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviewsThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hey Hey! Remember 10 things? They are back! If you don’t, 10 things started as 10 Things I Learned or Discover This Week about two years ago. I would change things up with 10 random things, as a fresh and fun way to recap my week without tl;dr THINGS.

To keep things simple – here are 10 Things I Learned or Discover This Week

  1. Walmart is shut down. I repeat, WALMART. HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN. Apparently, it’s frowned upon to drive your truck into the store? Who knew.
  2. My son has a girlfriend. Since.. January 14th, to be exact.
  3. Chocolate CAN go bad. Learned THAT the hard way.
  4. I am still self conscious about SO many things. (I also can’t spell)
  5. I’ve known my closest blogger friends for 3 years.
  6. I’m really bad at following directions when ordering products online. My Society6 “pillow” was in fact, not a pillow but a pillow CASE.
  7. I met Nicole Castroman (author of Blackhearts) and realized that yes, I am still so socially awkward. I hardly said a WORD.
  8. I don’t think ALA is in the works for me! πŸ™ πŸ™
  9. I have a friend in one circle, of a bunch of crazy ladies that I play fantasy football with. Then, I have another friend, not in this group. Following? Come to find out, one friend from each know each other! This community is so small sometimes.
  10. McDonald’s is not kind my insides. #stillfeellikedeath

Ooh the son has a boyfriend! That’s an exciting phase of his life… How do you feel about it?
And ha! I’m so socially awkward too. I met some friends the other day that I hadn’t seen in a while, and I was very quiet around them.
I’ve heard good things about Symptoms! I need to get a copy some time. And I love The Immortal Rules!
    Have a good weekend!

I love The Immortal Rules, well the whole trilogy. I Spring Clean all year round. I have no time to be hoarding. The only thing I have to get rid of are books, and they go straight to the library or my cousins. Happy Saturday!

I’m actually listening to Symptoms of Being Human and it’s really good! My coblogger loved it so I knew I needed it.
Ooooh son has a girlfriend!! I hope it goes well for him πŸ™‚
That Wal-Mart thing is… Wow. Who knew you couldn’t drive a truck inside? Hopefully it gets restored soon!
    Have a good week πŸ™‚

Couscous…. πŸ™‚ HAHAH. Yay for 10 things being back! So fun! Haha to #9! I’m excited to hang out with Ellice again. But big boo to not being able to do ALA. I’m still not decided yet. I obviously will have to see who’s going. If there’s not really anyone I know, I’ll probably bow out. We can be socially awkward together at the book festival. YAY! LOL.

Yeah, not a fan of that white cover. I can’t even read the author! But I liked The Immortal Rules!

Oh my goodness, I am SO awkward when it comes to meeting authors. I’m 25, you’d think I’d grown out of that by now. My mother even came with me to a book festival last year and she was the one trying to get me to talk xD Thanks, mom, for making me feel like an 8 year old talking to a cute boy lol

I start spring cleaning….all the time. I’m constantly reorganizing and going through things so I don’t really do “spring” cleaning, I do “all year” cleaning lol
