Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers

Lately, it seems like when Tuesday rolls around and it’s Teaser Time, I am either in the beginning of the book OR there isn’t really anything interesting to just grab you because I’m not at a “WHOA” part. (HA) I guess I could go to a Random Page, like it says at the top, but then I’d be spoiling things for myself. So, this week I’ll do a more in-depth teaser.
😀
~My Teasers~
Teaser 1-
“I was not,” Michael said, leaning toward me, eyes twinkling. “Nor was I an admirer of Ms. Desaulniers’s”
“Then you’re on the side of right and justice, and I won’t hold it against you.”
Teaser 2-
“We do not facilitate synergistic synergy,” Michael said
“I’m sorry?”
“Synergistic synergy. It’s one of those bullshit business phrases that make you pretty confident I’m going to steal money from your House.”
“I could feel the blush from my toes, mortified that he’s called me out.”
