The bi weekly round up

The Bi Weekly Round Up is linked to The Caffeinated Reviewer Sunday Post

  • Ugh, it’s been slow moving on the blog lately. I’m used to the back and forth, meaning slowness then work work work, but this is a different rut.
  • I can’t seem to get my reading mojo back. Share with me some amazing books that I must have. PLEASE!

  • Bear got me a camera that I have been wanting to get for well, forEVER. I was crying I was so happy. (I don’t cry, so this means I had a tear) I am so excited.
  • The little guy didn’t make the football team – and he handled it a lot better than we thought he would. I think this IS a blessing in disguise but it sucks.
  • We are looking to plan a weekend getaway! What are your favorite places to vacation at?
  • SCHOOLS OUT! (May 24th)

  • I’ve been running again. My shins have been killing me but I will push through.
  • We are doing our first race of the year in like, 2 weeks. Thanks to Bear for finding one we HAD to do on such short notice. >.<

We haven’t made any plans for the summer which is kind of depressing. I’m still trying to get my mind around my leg issues to get on the treadmill so I’ve been slacking bad. I’ve been reading The Beyond an urban fantasy by Chloe Neill and listening to The Unlikeable Demon Hunter: Burn an UF by Deborah Wilde. I’m having a hard time getting into the Neill book, but I’ve been waiting impatiently for Demon Hunter. It’s the last book in the series and the previous book left off with a bit of a cliff hanger. I’ve started watching iZombie on Netflix so I’ve been watching more tv than reading lately.

Hope your shin splints go away and you have a good time on your run!

I had to laugh at the “this means I had a tear” thing because I am so opposite. I get emotional and weepy so easily. Hope you enjoy the weekend getaway… wherever you end up going. We’ve already taken a week off in later April/early May so I’m not sure when our next getaway will be. Hope you get back in a reading mood soon. I hate when that happens!

Sometimes when I’m in a reading funk, I re-read one of my favourites.

I hope you have a good week and get your reading mojo back 😉
