Burn, Rewrite or Reread

I was tagged by Danielle @ Love at First Page

The rules: There are three rounds, wherein I use a random number picker applied to my shelves of my choosing on Goodreads for three books, then torture myself with what I would do to those three: burn, rewrite or reread. I used my “young adult” shelf for all 3 rounds. I was going to use different shelves – but a lot of adult books kept coming up!

Round 1

87557762274978815717100

Burn: What I Didn’t Say. Two reasons. 1) I didn’t like how this book became all about Samantha, and 2) process of elimination.

Rewrite: City of Lost Souls. Jace was a (bad word here) and I didn’t like what happened with Alec and Magnus.

Reread: Undertow. This book was so much fun! I love the Alpha!

Round 2

Burn: Need. This book was weird and that’s all I really remember about it!

Rewrite: Drawn. Mainly because I would like to redo the cover (LOL) but this book was really good!

Reread:Vampire Academy. Um, because hello Rose is a bad A.

Round 3

Burn: Nantucket Blue. Honestly, process of elimination again. This book is really fluffy.

Rewrite: Get Dirty. Possible spoiler. I would have killed off a few characters.

Reread: Of Breakable Things. I don’t remember much about this – just the main plot points and really liking it. And of the three, I would get more out of a re-read!

You know, I loved What I Didn’t Say but I don’t think I ever really thought about how much she DID make it all about Samantha until you pointed that out. Hm disappointing so good decision there. And you’re right about that Drawn cover. I’d probably pass it up because of it (I’m so judgey!) but it actually sounds interesting and unique. I may need to try that one. And YES! Rose!!

Ha I could probably go on and on about each one of your picks but I’ll stop with those so I don’t write a novel here. 😀
