Awesome Books, New Bookmark + Back to School Shopping? {Weekly Wrap Up 117}

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviewsThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hey!

So I’ve been thinking about writing a post about what I did while I was on vacation, and other than visiting with one of my best friends EVER (Wendy) and family, I didn’t do anything! LOL It would have been a boring wrap up if I do say so myself. Don’t get me wrong. I loved seeing everyone and just relaxing. I needed the break.

On the home front: The kiddos start school soon  – so that means SHOPPING! I am one of those weird folk that likes to shop for school supplies. I’ve been laid up this week due to some mouth pain from dental work and expected dental work. So the thought of shopping makes me smile. Even though it hurts. (To smile.)

I’ve been in a crafting rut lately so there hasn’t been much new added to my shop. I do have some new pieces (one below) that I hope ya’ll will enjoy!

Just in case you didn’t know, I am on the hunt for Sarah Fine ARCs. I am collecting all her books  (finished copies + foreign editions, not just ARCs) So if you have any you want to part with, or want to trade for, let me know!

Share with me:

  • A book you recently got (purchased or review)
  • Something that made you smile this week.

    Your vacation actually sounds amazing. I like doing nothing and just hanging out with friends and family because I’m lazy like that.
    OMG school supply shopping is so fun! It was always mine and my parents favorite thing to do before school started.
    Oh yes thanks for reminding me about the Sarah Fine ARC. I’ll send you The Impostor Queen definitely. Probably sometime in Late September or early October. I’m curious about what you’ll think about Burn Down the Night. I didn’t love it unfortunately and I’m sad because books 1 and 2 are my favorite. I hope you have better luck with it!
    Have a good week ahead!

    Hahaha I can see how it might be difficult to write a post about what you did on vacation if you didn’t anything other than visit people 😛 At least you enjoyed yourself though! That’s what counts 🙂

    Sorry about the dental work. It does look like you got some great new books though. Unlovers sounds interesting from the title, and I considered requesting Riverkeep on Netgalley as it sounds like an interesting story.

    Have a great week!

    Back to school shopping?! Either your kids go back to school earlier than they do here (not until first week of September) or you are very well prepared! 🙂 What made me smile this week : sunshine! It’s been a wet and gloooomy summer so far this year, and it’s supposed to rain again this week, so I embraced the sunshine today!
