From Best-selling Amazon author Lars Guignard comes the number-one turbo-charged, action spy thriller Lethal Circuit.

A Chinese satellite is on a crash course with Earth.
It contains enough plutonium to irradiate a large city.
And that's the good news...

Michael Chase is a twenty-six year old backpacker, a recent college graduate, an amateur. He flew to Hong Kong to find his missing father. Four hours later, he's running for his life. The Chinese Secret Police want him dead. The Conspiracy wants him dead. And the one person who he thinks is on his side, may want him dead too. If Michael is going to live, he'll need to find a hidden piece of Nazi technology lost since World War II. And he'll have to do it before anyone else. Because if he doesn't, a little plutonium is going to be the least of his problems.

Can Michael Chase team up with a beautiful but deadly MI6 agent to locate a lethal piece of Nazi technology that will save the world?

If you can't get enough of the action of Lee Child and Vince Flynn, the intrigue of Robert Ludlum, and the adventure of Clive Cussler and James Rollins, you are going to LOVE Lethal Circuit!

I received this book for free from The Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Lethal Circuit is the audiobook that kicked off the audio binge. After being asked to join the tour, I was really hesitant to join because for one; I was honestly scared of how to review an audio (don’t ask, okay?) and second, it doesn’t sit anywhere near the genres I typically read. Now a movie? Sure. I would have watched in a heart beat. A book? Eh.. not so much. But I digress, I am glad I decided to join the tour because I really enjoyed it!

I have been listening to Lethal Circuit for a long time. Not because I wasn’t interested but because my husband started listening to it  too, pretty much telling me not skim ahead so he was able to listen with me. The times to listen together were minimal so, progress was quite slow. As the tour started its kick off, i started to get nervous I wasn’t going to finish. Ironically, it was around the same time in the book where things started getting REALLY good. I found myself listening to it during my commute ahead of him and came pretty close to spoiling things for him. This is one of those books that you can’t really get into any details because of spoilers. One very small detail will set off a small chain of events that could ruin the whole experience for you. Keep that in mind because my husband was not pleased. >.<

Lethal Circuit is really, really fast paced with heart pounding action that never stops. There were a lot of characters involved and a lot of  important information thrown out there. All the while, enough twists and deception to keep you on your toes throughout. Michael Chase, a 26-year-old backpacker, journeys off to China in search for answers regarding his fathers disappearance. Only hours after arriving things go awry and Michael is on the run. From who? Just about everybody!

Although there were several different POV going on; Michael is the main character and the book is primarily from his POV. I really enjoyed his character. He’s smart, loyal and quick on his feet. Going on gut instinct, I thought he did really well for himself with everything that was thrown his way. We get a little more from some other characters POV while others, only once or twice. Typically, I am not a fan of so many POV switches but with Lethal Circuit, I thought it was handled very well. It was necessary too, since there is so much going on.

I had a hard time getting in the groove with the narrator at first. I honestly thought there was something wrong with my copy because the change in volume and his voice was so sudden and random, I thought it was glitchy. The more I listened, the more I caught on to why this was happening. And actually, once I saw the trend I thought it was interesting, actually helping me determine where I was at in the book. Whether is was a memory/flashback with Michael and his father. Whether it was the start of a different POV, or just simply the narrator taking a break. I loved how he nailed the accents too!

My Peeve- It honestly has nothing really to do with the book itself; but since it I listened to it over a long period of time, I forgot a few small details and was lost a some parts. My suggestion? Start it when you have the time to finish within a reasonable amount of time.

Overall- I really enjoyed it! I recommend it for anyone who loves mysteries and action. I am anxious to see where Michael is headed next.
